Girlan Pinot Noir Riserva Trattman Alto Adige DOC 2021

The Pinot Noir Riserva “Trattmann” is one of the most prestigious expressions of Pinot Noir in Alto Adige, produced from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown on the renowned Trattmann farm in Girlan, located on the slopes of Mazzon, an iconic and highly suited territory for this noble vine.

The vineyards are located at about 400 meters above sea level, with a south-west exposure and clay soil rich in silt, ideal for giving structure, freshness and complexity to the wine.

After a controlled fermentation in steel for 18–20 days, with malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 15 months in oak barrels, both large and small, developing an elegant and deep aromatic profile, with notes of red fruits, fine spices and toasted nuances.

An elegant, intense and long-lived Pinot Noir Riserva, perfect to accompany structured dishes, such as roasts, game, braised meats and mature cheeses.
