Boscarelli Il Nocio Noble Wine of Montepulciano DOCG 2013

The Boscarelli Il Nocio 2013 is one of the most prestigious labels from the historic Cervognano winery. It comes from a single vineyard, Il Nocio, planted in 1972 and grown exclusively with Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese), the flagship grape variety of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.

An intense ruby ​​red with subtle garnet highlights, it offers a broad and refined bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, elegant spices, tobacco, and light balsamic nuances. On the palate, it is structured and balanced, with silky tannins and a long, harmonious finish, capable of aging beautifully over the years.

Aged for over 24 months in oak barrels of various capacities, the 2013 Nobile di Montepulciano Il Nocio is a red of great complexity and elegance, ideal with roasts, game, braised meats and mature cheeses, but also perfect as a meditation wine.
