Selvadolce Funambolo Terraces of Imperia White PGI 2014

The 2014 Selvadolce Funambolo Terrazze dell'Imperiese Bianco IGP is an artisanal and biodynamic wine produced by the Selva Dolce winery in Bordighera, Liguria. It is made from a careful selection of native and Mediterranean white grape varieties, grown on terraces overlooking the sea, with poor, well-ventilated soils that lend the wine freshness and a distinct minerality.

It has a bright golden yellow color. The nose offers a complex bouquet, with notes of ripe fruit, candied citrus, dried flowers, aromatic herbs, and saline hints. On the palate, it is intense and enveloping, with a full structure and a vibrant flavor reminiscent of the sea and Mediterranean scrub, typical of the Ligurian Riviera.
