Zambon Fidelis Rosso Veneto IGT 2017

€51,11/l

The Zambon Fidelis Rosso it is an intense, elegant and meditative red wine , a pure expression of the volcanic territory of Monte Mezzo , an ancient extinct volcano in Gambellara ( VI) , in the heart of the hills of eastern Verona.

Produced from a selection of native and international red grapes ( a blend reserved by the company), this red is born from a limited yield and careful vineyard management . The harvest , strictly manual, takes place at advanced ripeness to ensure concentration and complexity .

The vinification process involves a long maceration on the skins and aged for over 36 months in large oak barrels and concrete vats , in contact with the fine yeasts . The result is a rich, deep , and layered wine that combines power and finesse .

On the nose it opens with aromas of ripe red fruits , spices, tobacco, licorice and balsamic hints , while on the palate it is warm, structured and savoury , with velvety tannins , excellent freshness and a long persistence.

A red for special occasions, ideal with red meats , braised meats, game, mature cheeses , or as a sipping wine . A wine that speaks of time, land , and vision . of the Zambon family .
